The evening department worked at the Nikopol Metallurgical Technical School from 1948 to 1993 and made a significant contribution to the training of ferrous metallurgy specialists of various profiles.

In 1951-1955, assembly and sports halls, a dormitory for students, and a house for teachers were built.

Training and production workshops were built and put into operation, which provided students with an internship. A library with a reading room and a literature fund of 12,000 was opened. books.

In 1974, the Nikopol Metallurgical Technical School received a new complex of educational buildings at 18 Lenin Avenue, where it is located today. Together with the educational buildings, the technical school received a new dormitory and a cafe-dining room, a sports hall, a sports complex (stadium), a library with a reading room, a lecture hall, and workshops.
